Absolute Backgammon FOR MAC

 Backgammon is a rather popular board game that can be played by two people: the goal is to move the pieces according to the numbers rolled on two dices and reach the other side of the board before your opponent does.

Absolute  Backgammon is a Mac game that allows you to play the game against the computer or with one of your friends. The game comes with a single board design, but you can easily open your own boards. You can switch the interface language to English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Dutch.

Via the Absolute Backgammon Preferences window, you can adjust the skill level for the computer opponent (novice, fair, good, very good, club champ), but also its personality (conservative, normal, aggressive, or random).

At the same time, you can decide which set of rules applies to the game: Doubling Cube Used, Jacoby Rule, No Backgammons, Beavers Allowed, Offer Concessions, or 5 Max On a Row. Moreover, you can choose to see the possible moves, the piece move method, the piece movement speed, and more.

Once a new game starts, you must roll the dice and then move your pieces around the board according to the results. To help you play, in the Suggestions panel, Absolute  Backgammon displays all possible moves for the current roll: to apply one of them simply select it from the list.

Last but not least, you can keep track of the game by opening the “Info” tab and select the “Instant Replay” option. The same area allows you to see how many rolls are left, inquire about the status of the game and more.
