With social networks letting you get in touch with people all around the world, you most likely end up with a large list of individuals you know, in a short time. The same goes for a business, and it’s good to keep all contacts well-organized in a database. Luckily, Addresses comes with the right means, and a clean, intuitive interface in this regard.
On the visual side of things, the application quickly gets you up and running thanks to the clean interface, with most of the space dedicated to showing lists of contacts, and all management options accessible either from the upper toolbar, or dedicated context menu.
Sooner or later you get the chance to add a new contact. Structured in tabs, the creation window lets you add various details like actual address, contact details, groups, picture, and additional info in the form of a memo. If you already have a list of contacts saved as TXT or CSV, it can be imported to save some time and effort.
All contacts can be organized in groups, and you can even have one individual belonging to more. The application comes with a large collection of icons to make it easier to identify individuals and groups. However, you can also add pictures, at far as contacts are concerned.
There are a few ways to view your contacts, such as general display, with pictures, and important info, list, and labels. The last one is also used if you want to print out multiple cards on a sheet to paper in order to quickly create a badge, or temporary ID. The built-in designer makes sure only details of interest are printed out.
In case the database needs to be accessed only by you, there’s the possibility to have it secured with a password. What’s more, you can easily create a backup copy, just in case something goes wrong, or you want to take it with you.
Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Addresses is sure to help you keep an organized database of friends, family, and business associates. The whole process is pretty intuitive, and takes a little while to configure. A password can be set for extra protection, while the clean visual style is sure to convince you to keep it for more than just a try.
