In case you’re working with a lot of vehicles, Cars can help you create a database in no time at all, and keep track of maintenance records, with options to generate reports.

All the application has to offer is found in a simple interface, wrapped around a classic window frame, making accommodation easy for beginners, and experienced individuals alike. A side navigation panel makes it easy to navigate through all cars in the inventory, as well as all repairs reports. As such, the rest of the space is meant for viewing, and editing fields.

Each items is shown in a tree list on the navigation pane, and each vehicle is fitted with two child items, one for maintenance records, while the other for a picture. Adding a new item only requires you to write down year, make, and model. As mentioned above, a picture can be attached as well, but only one per vehicle.

On the other hand, customization only depends on the additional fields you want to add. Apart from make, and model, a table can be fully fitted with an unlimited number of fields, to which you write values in case default options are not enough.

When handling maintenance records, a date must be set for the periodical inspection, current mileage, as well as cost. The latter option can be accompanied by different options you add in the repair description table. Additional notes can be inserted as well.

All fields, groups, and drop-down menu items are saved on exit, allowing you to use them easily later on. File support is decent, and you’re able to both import, and export to files of formats like XML, or CSV, with info separated by tabs.
