This application lets you easily repair damaged MS Access databases, MS Excel worksheets, MS Word documents, MS Outlook data files, and MS Outlook Express DBX and MBX files. These can only be uploaded with the help of a built-in file browser, as the “drag and drop” function is not supported, yet you should know that both single and batch processing are available.

In each of the aforementioned modes a progress bar enables you to approximate the time left until the process is complete. In addition to that, you can set up the tool to open the fixed file when it is finished and convert all pictures to a BMP format (as separate files or not). The output directory can be chosen with ease, while the internal processing buffer size can be adjusted.

Overall, DataNumen Office Repair proves to be a pretty efficient piece of software, yet it is important to keep in mind that it cannot perform miracles, some files being simply beyond repair. The interface is intuitive and we did not come across any errors, hangs or bugs. However, at times, the response time leaves a bit to be desired.
