FilesTuber is a file sharing and media search engine that helps users look for content on many uploading websites.

There aren't a lot drop-down menus, tabs, or secondary setting panels when it comes to navigating FilesTuber's interface. Everything someone has to access is right there at their fingertips in the main window.

As such, the application is split into three panels: the list of websites for file sharing, the list of results, and some handy options for advanced search engine tweaks. Users can detach the interface panels or even close them completely. In case the main window hinders you, you can send it to the system tray via a simple tick of a box.

FilesTuber claims to do a lot but falls short of being entirely successful. Although the whole list is encompassing, every time someone tries to search the big database of file sharing websites, the program crashes. Deselecting certain domains does not fix this problem either.

However, when it comes to configuration settings,  users can sort files by relevance, size, date, and even extensions. In case certain words do not do the trick in finding the needed files, users can input the exact phrase and number of pages found related to the item they're looking for. To make things easier to manage, users can display the search results in separate windows in order not to clutter the main panel.

FilesTuber is a perfect example of an excellent design ruined by terrible quality control. Although the universal file sharing search feature is there, the final functionality is not. The level of available customization is high enough to give some flexibility, but the poor overall functionality hinders the application's end purpose. Nevertheless, the program has a nice interface finish and sells the illusion of a genuine, successful design.
