Free Web

Free Web is a simple designed software application that allows you to browse the internet.

This tiny internet browser can be used to navigate to your favorite sites and online locations very fast.

All the main functions in this browser are nicely displayed on the top control bar, using large icons, so all users are able to see the commands.

The small program works like a regular browser, and has buttons like "Home", "Forward" and "Favorite", displayed for quick access.

A nice feature is the "Web Mail" button that can be configured from the preferences to point to your favorite mail provider.

The top menu also integrates a search button, but unfortunately the search is only conducted on Google Netherlands. The browser's history is accessed from the top right "History" button, in a new window which can delete the browsing data.

Favorites can be added quickly in the top right text field, where you can also view other defined favorite, and delete the entries that are no longer used.

From the "Tools" tab, the settings can be accessed, allowing custom values for homepage and favorite mail provider. Three values are set in place, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail or a new value can be entered in the fourth tab.

All the main function buttons, like "Favorites", "Home", "Zoom", "Search" and "Go" buttons can switched on or off from this location.

With all the pros and cons, Free Web does not support search engine interrogation from the address bar, and although the interface is simple to use, further more advanced functions can be added in the future.

Free Web is a browser that can be easily handled by inexperienced users thanks to the reduced functions implemented and the icons that are displayed like in a more used browser. The utility handles nice all the commands and did not display error messages in the tests. Since it is lightweight in size, it does not load the system's memory.
