Installing a third-party image editor or viewer applications may sometimes hijack the image file associations. In such circumstances, you could use this utility to repair the file associations (following image file types) to Windows XP defaults.
Open the Imgeditor application and look at section Miscellaneous - Restore the image file associations to defaults. Select the appropriate file type for which you want to repair the association, and click Repair associations.
