Nancy Drew: Alibi In Ashes is a mystery game that focuses on finding the arsonist who burned down the River Heights Town Hall. Unfortunately for Nancy Drew, she attended the local contest when the arson took place, and was erroneously arrested for the crime.

The objective of the game is to find clues among the burning embers of the town hall and bring justice to the deceitful person that framed Nancy. You play the role of Nancy Drew and her teenage friends (Ned, Bess, George) who don’t believe that Nancy Drew was capable of such an act. You are determined to find the real arsonist, who could be anyone.

Ned Nickerson is Nancy’s boyfriend who initiated the investigation that may lead them to find the real criminal. Using his natural good looks and charm, Ned is not going to give up searching for clues and freeing his long-time girlfriend from the hands of the police.

Bess Marvin, an optimistic girl with a positive attitude, is one of Nancy’s best friends. Like Ned, she is determined to bring down the true arsonist making use of her social skills and the ability to sense what suspects are hiding deep inside.

George Fayne is Bess’s cousin and one of Nancy’s closes friends. George is a technology enthusiasts, a feature that will help the gang track down the mischievous arsonist. Also, suspects might have a difficult time with her when she asks them tricky questions.

In your adventure, you interview different characters, search houses and police stations, and use your detective skills to save Nancy Drew’s reputation. You can also infiltrate the local police lab and identify fingerprints.
