The game does not follow the classic rules when it comes to fouls or free throws. NBA JAM is featuring “special” features that allows players to make unrealistic jumps or slam dunks and more.

Moreover, if one player scores 3 baskets in a row, he becomes “on fire” which raises high shooting precision and speed. In fact, the game is full of amusing features that can be activated by different keyboard shortcuts.

NBA JAM allows you to start a game immediately by selecting a team, or you can play in classic campaign mode: you pick a team and then you must defeat all the others to win the championship. Of course, you get to choose a player name and a difficulty level.
