Net.Scopa allows you to play this game on your Mac, against human opposition or the AI. If you are not familiar with Scopa, it may take some time to get accustomed to the rules, but once you have done so, the game could prove to be quite entertaining.

The app offers multiple variations, such as La Scopa, La Scopa Frac, La Scopa a perdere, Scopone Trentino and so on. You can select any of them by accessing the Options menu before starting a game.

Net.Scopa also includes a save feature, making it possible to continue a match at a later date, should you be unable to complete it for the time being.

It would help, however, if at least some basic documentation were provided, as it can be very difficult for players who are not familiar with the game to understand its rules without looking for instructions elsewhere.

Once a game has been completed, Net.Scopa displays each player’s total and round scores. Points are awarded for the most captured cards, most coins or diamonds and other achievements.

You can view your ranking to see how you compare against other players and get an assessment of your current skill level.

Net.Scopa’s interface is not very well designed, using button styles and color schemes that do not fit together at all. This gives the game an outdated and very unappealing look.

Resizing the application window produces a strange distortion effect, so we discourage attempting this action.
