Octagon Ball Labyrinth 3D is a very simple arcade game that can test your reflexes by having you guide an object through an ever-changing labyrinth, while your speed is gradually increasing.

There is no ‘ending’, so to speak, as your only goal is to keep going for as long as possible before inevitably plummeting to the depths.

Octagon Ball Labyrinth 3D is set in a futuristic world, though you probably would not want to live there. You control a metal ball that is constantly moving forward, and the only thing you can do to keep it out of trouble is move it to the left or right, using the arrow keys.

The 8-sided labyrinth you have to navigate through has seen better days, as sections of it seem to have been destroyed. Of course, you should avoid these gaps, as even in a zero-gravity environment, falling through them brings about the end of the game.

Sadly, the maze is not terribly complex. Even though you can keep going indefinitely, it does not take very long for certain features to appear again. The graphics are reminiscent of an old console game, with low-resolution textures and simplistic models.

The soundtrack is almost not worth mentioning. Some well-chosen background music could have made things a bit more interesting, but the only included track gets old almost immediately.

Your primary and only goal in Octagon Ball Labyrinth 3D is to improve the previous high score. For a while, it can be quite fun, but it will not be long until traveling through the same environment becomes frustrating.

In conclusion, if you do not know what to do on a half an hour lunch break and are looking for a fun way to pass the time, Octagon Ball Labyrinth 3D will probably do a good job of keeping you entertained. You will, however, lose interest soon after that, as the game has nothing new to offer after the first few minutes, and the gameplay quickly becomes repetitive.
