Desktops are often clogged with all sort of shortcuts to programs, pictures and other items that take up space on the screen. Fortunately, there are some applications that could help you free up space.

One of them is Startway. It's a neat software solution that lets you create shortcuts to your favorite applications and launch them easily.

The application sports a really simple and intuitive graphical interface with multiple tools and features that you can check out. It doesn't come with any customization options, which is quite inconvenient since it means that you can't make any changes to the application's interface.

It also lacks any tips or instructions on how to get started with the application and use all of its features.

It allows you to create 10 shortcuts for applications. You simply need to assign an application to each empty slot. You can change the slot number, type in a name and pick one of the available actions.

You can launch a program or an executable file, open explorer, the task manager or close Startway. You can also assign a manual entry for the slot. You can create up to 10 shortcuts, but it would have been useful if you could pin the application on the desktop, on top of other programs that you're using.

It uses MD5 encryption which means that you can create a password and restrict access inside the program. It doesn't require installation, so it's best if you set the program to launch on startup. You can create a button set and use it inside the application.

The program doesn't save shortcuts that you've created, which can be quite inconvenient. Startway is a useful program that allows you to create all sort of shortcuts to applications on your computer and launch them instantly.
