Getting started with TCCNotes is a breeze! After a quick setup, you're ready to dive into the app and see what it offers. It even comes with a default note that pops up on your desktop so you can check out the layout right away. Plus, it adds a tray icon that gives you access to settings and note management.
Now, here’s something unique: the desktop note doesn’t have the usual window frame. That means there are no minimize or close buttons. If you want to clear notes off your screen, you'll need to shut down the whole app. It would be cool if there was a hotkey system in place, but you can assign one to the app's shortcut for quick access when needed.
You can add text by double-clicking on a note. When creating new notes from the management panel, it’s super easy! Just keep in mind that double-clicking copies the content to your clipboard. So, if you're pulling text from somewhere else, make sure to switch on editing mode first.
TCCNotes does offer some customization options! You can change background colors, header colors, border colors, and even adjust opacity levels for your notes. However, it’s worth mentioning that all text comes in plain format—there aren’t any fancy fonts available right now. And while exporting notes is possible for taking them elsewhere, importing them back isn’t an option.
