Guest profiles can be set up as well for those visitors who are there occasionally, and the browser can be launched in Incognito mode to browse the Web without traces.

As expected, Tesla Browser preserves the key features in the Chromium browser, namely the integrated download manager, the task manager, the developer tools and the support for extensions. The bookmark manager is also available, allowing you to save and organize the pages you visit most. There is a so-called “Reading list”, which allows you to save articles and pages you want to revisit and read.

There are a few other features designed to make your browsing experience much more pleasurable. For instance, Tesla Browser can add a new section in the “Search Tabs” to quickly identify tabs that are playing media. The application comes with tab scrolling (the tab strip scrolls left pr right when full) and support for all the extensions in the Chrome Web Store.

Tesla Browser makes use of Chromium’s power and feature set to deliver a fast and user-friendly Internet browser for all tastes. There are a few extra features that make it different from Chromium and Chrome but, essentially, the functionality is the same. On the bright side, Tesla will surely benefit from all the upgrades and security patches in the Chromium engine, which turns it into a viable alternative to major web browsers.
