Tormentum - Dark Sorrow FOR MAC

Tormentum - Dark Sorrow is an atmospheric point-and-click adventure game that takes you to a dark world, filled with strange, grotesque creatures and gloomy environments. The protagonist is thrown head-first into this depressing world, with no memory of who he is and where he came from.

Initially, the hero finds himself in a locked metal cage suspended below a strange flying machine, with no memory of how he ended up there. The first character you meet is in a similar predicament, and it is up to you to escape and make sense of what little you can remember.

On the way, you will journey through three separate realms and numerous levels, each with its own visual style and puzzles. Eventually, the moral choices you make will affect the game’s ending, so be certain you are making the right ones.

It is refreshing to find that the various puzzles you encounter along the way are not frustratingly difficult, even though they may seem that way when you have no idea what to do next.

There are no helpful hints you can ask for, but you should be able to figure out the solution if you pay attention to your environment and the items you have collected so far.

The two-dimensional environments you pass through along your journey are beautifully drawn and inspired by the works painters H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński.

The soundtrack is made up of over 40 tracks, and together they do a good job of immersing you into the game world.

To conclude, Tormentum - Dark Sorrow can lead you on a fun adventure in a bleak, depressing world, as you guide the protagonist through his journey, completing puzzles and minigames along the way.
