Surfing the web is a daily activity for the majority of computer owners, especially since almost any kind of task can be accomplished online, including entertainment. However, you don’t really need an abundance of features for a comfortable experience, and with this in mind, TrackBrowser puts emphasis on speed, rather than a pool of useless features.

A thing you notice before the start is you don’t even have to go through a setup process to make the application work and is good to go from the moment download is done. This also enables you to carry in on a thumb drive in case you want to have your personal web browser wherever you go.

As far as the visual design is concerned the application keeps things simple, wrapping all of its features in a classic window frame, and a common layout for a web browser. Most of the window space represents the preview area, which can be maximized to fit on your entire screen. Even so, there are some simple missing aspects like the URL field from the upper toolbar, which is rather frustrating.

Since the upper toolbar is only fitted with navigation controls, option to refresh, go home, but no URL field, you might think it’s only possible to move around through Google search results, because Google is the default landing page. Luckily, there is a URL field, but it needs to be accessed from the file menu.

Unfortunately, the application is stripped of even some popular features you frequently use in other browsers. A bookmarks manager is included, but it fails to function most of the times. Tabs are not implemented, but you can run multiple instances of the application to stay connected to more pages at a time.

In conclusion, TrackBrowser is a fast, lightweight browser which is just right for low-end machines which keep browsing to minimum content details. Speed is decent, while there’s more than enough room to view content. The only inconvenience here is the method of accessing a web page.
