Since cinematography flourished with each decade, we are spending a lot of our time to watch fantasy, romance or action TV series. We do this to either fill our spare time or to simply relax and enjoy a good show. Nowadays we can choose from a wide variety of TV series, like Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, The Big Bang Theory and more.

You watched an intriguing show but you can remember only a part of the title, so instead of wasting time searching on Google, you can use TvBrowser. It's a feature-rich yet easy-to-use application designed to help look up for a series and display detailed information about it.

Since it doesn't require any installation, it can be copied on external drives and run from any computer. It's wrapped in a clean and intuitive layout with a search panel on the upper side of the window and four distinct tabs (info, episodes, fanart, actors) on the bottom.

To search for a show all you have to do is select your native language from the drop-down menu and type in the word, ID or IMDb ID if you know them. Then the tool displays all the records containing that term from where you can pick the desired one.

Once loaded, you can view the ID, name, status (complete, continued, canceled), genre (e.g. action, crime, drama, romance), first aired date, next episode day and time, as well as network, runtime, rating, actors and overview. On the right part of the panel, you can browse between the uploaded images, add the series to favorite and submit a star rating.

The episode tab shows in a tree structure all the available seasons and episodes, each with a picture preview, director, guest stars and the episode title and summary. All photos from the fanart and other sections can be viewed and saved on the computer. It's possible to see every actor with its corresponding image, role and name, by accessing the last tab.

Taking everything into account, TvBrowser is a useful and fun application that comes in handy for those who want to find a particular TV show based on a full or partial title, simple or IMDb ID, and read details about the episodes or actors.
