Winpad Layout

Winpad Layout is an interesting application that can help you organize the windows on your desktop in a layout similar to that of the numeric pad on your keyboard. You can move and resize windows by pressing Ctrl and various combinations of the 1-9 keys on the numeric pad.

This program is a Windows version of the macOS Keypad Layout app, and it offers almost the same functionality.

Essentially, the program divides your desktop into 9 sections in a 3x3 layout, just like the numeric pad. In order to move or resize windows, you will need to press Ctrl and one or more of the 1-9 keys.

If you press Ctrl and tap 1 twice, the selected window will be resized and moved to the bottom left corner of your screen. If you press Ctrl+5+9, you will end up with a 2x2 window in the top-right corner of the screen. Once you get the hang of it, you will see that the process is quite intuitive.

Once you have downloaded Winpad Layout, you can launch it instantly, from any location. It does not store any data on your PC, so you don’t have to worry about anything being left behind if you decide not to use the program.

The application is minimized to the system tray as soon as it is launched, and you don’t need to configure anything. It is very unobtrusive, and you can close it by just right-clicking the tray icon.

Overall, Winpad Layout can be a useful application if you need to work with multiple Windows on a regular basis, as it enables you to move and resize them with just a couple of key presses. It is very easy to use, and it runs silently in the background.
