We're back with another Aviator release, featuring small bug fixes and an SVT-AV1-PSY update!
Bug fixes:
- Fixed the hicolor icon mislabeled as scalable
- Fixed audio bitrate resetting when opening a new file
SVT-AV1-PSY v2.3.0 improvements relevant to Aviator:
- Encoding with odd (non-mod2) dimensions is now possible
- Encoding at resolutions lower than 64x64 is now possible, down to as small as 4x4
- Improved color reproduction & overall picture quality when "Perceptual Tuning" is disabled
- General perceptual fidelity improvements with "Perceptual Tuning" enabled
- General performance improvements, especially on ARM platforms
- Various bug fixes
Other changes:
- Removed sharpness usage when "Perceptual Tuning" is enabled
- Updated FFmpeg to version 7.1
- Updated llvm to version 19 for project compilation
- Updated to GNOME SDK 47
