How to add a file
There are two ways to add a video file to the Video Shelf. One is to add a video file in the shelf mode. And the other is to add a video opened in the video mode.
Add a file to the Video Shelf
A video file can be added either by selecting the file in the file selection dialog which is invoked by clicking the 'Add Text File to Shelf...' button, or by dropping a file on the Video Shelf.
Select the shelf mode
Click the 'Shelf Mode' button in the toolbar.

The shelf screen is displayed.
Display the Video Shelf
Select the 'Videos' icon from the shelf list.

The Video Shelf is displayed.

The 'Set Video Info' dialog opens before the file is added to the Video Shelf.

Set 'Color', 'Title', and 'Thumbnail'.
Clicking the save button will add the file to the Video Shelf.
Add a file in the video mode
Select the video mode
Click the 'Video Mode' button in the toolbar.

The video screen is displayed.
Display Video File
Display a video file by dropping a video file in the video mode or by clicking the 'Select Video File...' button.
'Add to Video Shelf' button
The 'Add to Video Shelf...' button in the toolbar is enabled if a video file is displayed in the video mode. When a video of Video Shelf, Project Gutenberg, or Aozora Bunko is being displayed, the button is disabled.

Clicking the 'Add to Video Shelf...' button opens the 'Add to Video Shelf' dialog.

Clicking the save button will add the file to the Video Shelf.
