Ambify's preferences are available from the menu bar and include two basic sections.
This section allows you to reset your current Hue settings, discover a new bridge or manually configure a bridge instead.
To discover a new bridge simply hit the "Setup new Bridge" button at the bottom.
In order to manually enter a bridge address first click the "Edit" button to enable the input-field, then enter the ip-address of your bridge and confirm by hitting the enter key.
The Audio section gives you control over what audio device to use for playback and what name to use for AirPlay receiving.
Ambify will use the name of your Mac as a default AirPlay name. To change the AirPlay name simply enter a new one.
Note that the actual display name will contain the "[Ambify]" prefix as shown below the input field.
Enable Low-Latency mode for use with video or other timing sensitive applications such as DJ- or music production tools.
Note that Low-Latency mode also needs to be enabled in order to output AirPlay when capturing System Audio.
When playing audio Ambify will always output to the default device configured in the audio section.
The Visualizer section allows you to setup color syncing between LightFX and the Classic Visualizer.
When enabled, color syncing allows you to select one light that will sync to whatever color the classic visualizer is showing at the moment.
In addition, this light will not flash but stay on permanently.
Preferably, you select a light that is located either directly behind or somewhere near your display or TV.
If no light is selected the Classic Visualizer will behave like regular light and colors will change based on the playing music.
