Revenue settings

Define surcharges and multiplier for tags to calculate revenue dependent on the tags assigned to each task. You can also define a revenue for each calendar and a default revenue applied to new added calendars.

Define default revenue:

Step 1

Open and activate Minco.

Step 2

Open the menu and select "Preferences" to open Minco preferences.

Step 3

Click on the general icon in the toolbar of the preference window.

Step 4

Enter your default revenue per hour.

The default revenue will be applied for a new created calendar in Minco.

Changing the default revenue will not affect the revenue of existing calendar.

Setting the calendar revenue:

Step 1

Open and activate Minco.

Step 2

Open the menu and select "Preferences" to open Minco preferences.

Step 3

Click on the calendar icon in the toolbar of the preference window.

Step 4

Enter a revenue per hour for each calendar.

The revenue will be applied for each task assigned to the calendar.

Set the value to zero if you don't want to apply a revenue dependent on the calendar of a task.

Define revenue by tags:

Step 1

Open and activate Minco.

Step 2

Open the menu and select "Preferences" to open Minco preferences.

Step 3

Click on the tags icon in the toolbar of the preference window.

Step 4

Enter a surcharge and a multiplier for each tag.

Surcharge: The surcharge will be applied per hour for tasks associated to the tag.

Multiplier: The multiplier will be applied for tasks associated to the tag.

Example for a tag (non-billable): calendar revenue: $50.0 tag surcharge: $0.0 tag multiplier: 0.0 -> For tasks with the tag "non-billable", the revenue will be $0.0 per hour.

Example for a tag (client1): calendar revenue: $0.0 tag surcharge: $80.0 tag multiplier: 1.0 -> For tasks with the tag "client1", the revenue will be $80.0 per hour
