Description
AeroLS
AeroLS is a cool application that helps you analyze aerodynamic lifting surfaces. What does that mean, exactly? Well, it calculates how air flows around thin wings (you know, just the planform and camber, nothing too thick) when they are at a small angle of attack and sideslip. This all happens in a flow that is subsonic, steady, inviscid, and irrotational. Sounds fancy, right?
Analyze Multiple Lifting Surfaces
You can use AeroLS to look at different lifting surfaces all at once! However, keep in mind that it doesn't handle the effects of things like fuselages together with wings. But no worries—there aren’t any strict limits on how many panels you can use to define your problem's geometry. The only thing that might hold you back is your computer's memory and how long it takes to run the solution.
