Description

Apparat

Apparat is a handy tool if you're looking to keep track of your network traffic. It’s designed to help you spot which domains are sending and receiving data on your network. This software is lightweight, so it won’t slow down your system, and it offers a really simple experience!

Why Choose Apparat?

Many programs these days want you to connect to their servers, and sometimes that means dealing with annoying ads or extra browser extensions just to use them. But with Apparat, you can avoid all those hassles! It’s open-source and portable, which means you can get right to monitoring without any fuss.

User-Friendly Interface

When you start up Apparat, you'll see a clean interface that shows all the network traffic happening since you opened it. Just input your IP address in the designated spot, and you’re ready to check for any suspicious activity by looking at the packets sent through different domains.

Understanding Your Network Traffic

The top part of the screen displays a table where you can sort traffic by IP address as well as minimum, maximum, and lost packets of data. This lets you compare everything easily so you can see if there are any strange domains or unexpected spikes in data usage.

Live Monitoring Made Easy

The bottom section resizes nicely and shows a live timeline of network activity from when Apparat started running until now. You’ll get a detailed look at active connections and how much data is flowing through.

Room for Improvement

One thing we’d love to see is a dark mode feature! It would make using the app at night way nicer and help it match with Windows themes better.

Investigate Unusual Activity

If you've noticed a sudden jump in your data usage or suspect something odd on your network, Apparat can help! It allows you to find out which domains are connected and helps investigate their activity patterns.
