So, here’s the scoop: AuditISX is an Open Source utility made for checking out Microsoft Windows workstations, servers, and other devices that can access the Windows registry and WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation). It’s pretty versatile because you can save the audited info in multiple file formats like .txt, .xml, and database types such as SQL or MS Access.

This software has been around since 2004! It started as a simple WMI auditing tool and was originally called SOSOS, which stands for Son of Snoop on Steroids. If you're curious, you can still find its original source code on various websites today.
