Customizing Your Settings

Now, while you can't change things directly in the app interface, there's a way around that! You can tweak the proxy settings by opening up the ‘rules.xml’ file. To find it, just enter either %SYSTEMDRIVE%\\ProgramData or %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\\Application Data into the Run utility. After that, just open the XML file with any text editor you like.

Your Network Configurations

The sample document comes with three different setups that are easy to change. The first setup tells your system to use a proxy.pac file whenever the IP address is ‘10.0.0.1’ or if it's part of the ‘10.0.0.0/8’ subnetwork. Feel free to change the network name, proxy URL, or DNS IP as needed!

A Couple More Configs

The other two setups tell your system to use proxy.local.lan on port 3128 if your computer's IP is either 10.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.2.

Your Default Option

If none of those fit what you're looking for, there’s a “Default Config” option available too! Just keep in mind that using this means the proxy will be turned off.

Status Updates Made Easy

You can check out the current status by clicking on 'Status' from the system tray, which brings up a window showing when everything was last updated and what networks are available.
