Description
AutoPing
AutoPing is a free ping utility that makes it super easy to keep tabs on a host you set up. You can send pings at intervals that work for you!
What Does AutoPing Do?
This program is designed to give you loads of info about the hosts you’re monitoring. The main window isn’t just a gateway to all the app’s tools; it also shows you the results right there. Pretty cool, right?
Details You Get
You’ll see details like timestamps, any errors that pop up, round-trip time (RTT), data size, and the IP address. Plus, there's a handy chart to help you track your ping sessions.
Setting Up Monitoring
Getting started with a new host is super simple! Just right-click in the main window and AutoPing will ask for the host name. You can easily set up the watch period, data size, timeout, and Time to Live.
Email Alerts
One neat feature is that AutoPing has a tool specifically for sending emails if an error happens. Make sure to check out the options screen to configure your email settings!
Compatibility and Access
This app works great on all Windows versions! But heads up: if you're using Windows 7, you'll need admin privileges. When setting things up, AutoPing will ask which network adapter you want to use since it needs admin access to show available connections.
Overall Performance
Overall, AutoPing is a handy tool for keeping an eye on your configured host. It’s quick and stable and won’t slow down your system while sending those pings regularly.
