BACnet Lookout is a handy app that helps you find BACnet devices on your network. It gives you a central place to manage all those devices easily!

What is BACnet?

The BACnet protocol is used in building automation systems. This means it lets you control things like temperature devices, access controls, lighting, fire detectors, and other similar equipment. With BACnet Lookout, you can scan your network and get detailed info about each BACnet device you find.

How Does It Work?

You kick things off by setting up the network scan parameters. This includes the increment delay (if you're doing an incremental search) and the target address range. The app will then discover objects and properties while showing data about the running BACnet services.

View & Manage Your Devices

With BACnet Lookout, it's super easy to check out object properties! You can also create or delete new objects, run synchronization tasks, read or write BDT data, and even register foreign devices to get them ready for use. Plus, you'll get notifications if there are any changes in property ranges.

Stay Informed with Notifications

This app supports reading and writing properties or managing SubscribeCOV services too! It shows event notifications and builds alarm summaries while logging events and monitoring actions. The activity graph is pretty cool as it gives you a clear overview of your network setup and how all the devices are connected.

Easily Export Data

You can also export gathered data to EDE (Engineering Data Exchange) format for easy saving and later retrieval. This makes it super simple to keep track of everything!
