cCalc

cCalc is a super lightweight and handy utility for Windows that lets you play around with x86 CPU instructions. Why does that matter? Well, it helps you see how these instructions affect the registers and flags in your system. Plus, it’s great for tackling boolean algebra or whipping up bit masks.

Easy to Use and Portable

The best part? There's no installation needed! You can just drop the .exe file anywhere on your disk. When you want to use it, all you have to do is click on it, and voilà! If you're on the go, toss it onto a USB flash drive and run it on any computer without breaking a sweat. And don’t worry about messing up your Windows registry—it leaves that untouched!

User-Friendly Interface

The interface is super friendly, showing everything you need in one simple window. You’ll find x86 instructions like SHL (Shift Left), SHR (Shift Right), SAR (Shift Arithmetically Right), XCHG (Exchange Data), ROL (Rotate Left), ROR (Rotate Right), NEG (Two's complement negation), and NOT (Negate the operand) all at your fingertips.

Input Options Galore

You can enter data in either decimal or hexadecimal formats. It even shows signed values so you can keep track of what’s happening. Want to dive deeper? You can compare operands using the Original 8086/8088 instruction set—think CMP for comparison, ADD for addition, SUB for subtraction, MUL for unsigned multiplication, and DIV for unsigned division!

Logical Operations Made Simple

If you're into logical comparisons, cCalc has got you covered with TEST. Add some flair with carry flags or borrow during subtractions using ADC and SBB commands. For more advanced operations like signed multiplications or divisions, check out IMUL and IDIV. And don’t forget about using XOR, OR, and AND operators!

No Frills but Effective

While cCalc doesn’t have buttons for copying data directly to the Clipboard or exporting files, it's still pretty easy to copy signed values by selecting text and using the right-click menu or hitting that global Copy hotkey.

Reliable Performance

During our tests, we didn’t encounter any error messages—no hangs or crashes here! Plus, it runs smoothly without hogging your computer's resources.

If you're looking for a straightforward tool to execute various x86 CPU instructions and see how they impact registers and flags, cCalc is definitely worth checking out!
