You can import audio files using standard MIDI files, listen to them, and then play along using the built-in piano interface. Plus, it supports external instrument formats like sf2, EXS, and Hauptwerk!

User-Friendly Interface

The interface is pretty simple. You’ll find a note editor, a keyboard player, and several panels: Controls, MIDI Player, Dynamics, and Instruments. This makes it easy to get started with your music projects.

Adding Notes Made Easy

Adding notes in Claviatura is easy-peasy! Just right-click or CMD-click on a column in the vertical note layout. Want to change how long a note plays? Just drag it up or down while holding the right mouse button down!

Selecting Multiple Notes

You can even select multiple notes by holding down the CMD and SHIFT keys! Then you can adjust their thickness using the Dynamics pane, which you can access through the MIDI Player window.

MIDI Channels for More Control

The note editor also lets you pick from 16 different MIDI channels. Use SHIFT with the number keys to choose channels and assign notes using CMD + 1 to 0 or CMD + SHIFT + 1 to 6.

Control Your Music Settings

You’ve got control over tempo, time signatures, and key signatures too! Plus, there are different tunings you can import from MTX or scala files.
