Efficient Space Cleaning

The program is fairly simple to work with and does not require much experience in handling it. In order to start cleaning up space, you first need to select the target directory. Colorful Disk Clean Desktop will analyze the selection and create a multi-level pie chart, color-coding each of the folders' and subfolders' contents. It also provides you with a list of contents on the right side of the window. In the middle of the map, the application will display the total disk space that the selected directory consumes.

Intuitive Interface

By hovering your mouse over each segment in the pie chart, you can discover what they contain as well as the amount of space they eat up. You can also click on the items in the side-list, thus displaying the individual files that make it up, along with their size. If you find a folder that you want to remove, you can simply drag and drop it, either from the chart or from the list, into the 'Add your files and folders to delete' section. Colorful Disk Clean Desktop allows you to add as many items as you want, then press the 'Delete' button, and you are done.

Customizable Options

While Colorful Disk Clean Desktop can prove quite efficient in helping you clean up space on your computer, it does seem to lack additional options or customizable features. It could, at least, let you to select the used colors, or enable you to set some exclusion criteria. Nonetheless, it offers an interesting way of displaying the contents of your folders as well as a quick way of discarding data.
