What is Colorpicker FOR LINUX?

Colorpicker FOR LINUX

Colorpicker is a cross-platform, open-source, and Electron-based app that allows you to grab colors from your Linux computer's screen. Historically, color picker tools are usually very simplistic. What makes Colorpicker stand out is its (almost) unique balance between simplicity and features.

Colorpicker looks and feels like most apps of this sort. You choose colors using the three RGB sliders that take up most of the GUI, with the codes neatly displayed on the right. All of the app's features and tools are readily accessible from the top toolbar.

Key Features:

  • Pin tool for working with multiple apps simultaneously

  • Picker for quickly grabbing colors from anywhere on the screen

  • Colorsbook for saving and categorizing colors

  • Shading, Opacity, Clean Vue, Magic Color, Random, and Settings tools

The Tint feature makes finding the perfect color easy, allowing adjustments using chromatic, color, and shadow bars. Opacity and Focus mode focus on GUI customization and color perception improvement.

The Settings section offers fine-tuning for both looks and functionality to suit your working style. Colorpicker is designed with user experience in mind, catering to both beginners and advanced users with its customization features.
