One of the neat features is that it gives you the IP address for any hostname you enter. Plus, you can quickly add these addresses to your "hosts" file. This makes browsing websites quicker since your computer won't have to spend time looking up the IP address every time.

How It Works

Here's how it works: Say you want to visit yahoo.com. You just enter it into Computer Address Directory and find its IP address (like 216.115.108.245) with just one click! The next time you go to yahoo.com, your computer remembers this address and doesn’t need to look it up again. How easy is that?

Track Visitor Locations

Another cool thing is tracking where visitors come from. If someone visits your website and their IP address shows as 162.84.161.137, you might wonder where they are located. Just pop that number into CAD, and you'll see the hostname like on-tor-blr-a58-03-1022.look.ca, which tells you they’re from Toronto, Canada and use Look Communications as their ISP.
