Description
CsWol
CsWol is a handy tool for network admins who need to wake up their computers in the local area network (LAN) whenever they want. It has a friendly interface and some great features, like DNS lookup, which makes it super useful!
Easy Setup for CsWol
Getting started with CsWol is a breeze! Just make sure you have the .NET Framework installed since that’s what this software runs on.
User-Friendly Interface
The layout of CsWol is pretty straightforward. You’ll see a big window where you can easily add as many hosts as you need to your list. Just fill in the host name, description, MAC address, and source interface for each one.
Find Your Remote Computers Easily
This tool can help you find remote computers using either their IP address or host name. And if you ever need to change something, you can edit host properties anytime or even delete entries from your list if that’s what you decide.
Wake Up Multiple PCs at Once
You can wake up several selected PCs all at once! How cool is that? This feature really saves time when you have a lot of machines to manage.
Host Detection Features
The program comes with a neat host detection function that looks up DNS servers. It shows important details like the current subnet settings along with the IP range and sender/receiver status. Plus, it allows you to add new IP addresses if needed. You can even set it up to ping unreachable hosts regularly—just pick how often you'd like it to check!
Stable Performance
During our tests, we didn’t run into any issues with stability. The app ran smoothly without freezing or crashing and didn’t cause any error messages. It also uses very little CPU and RAM, so it won’t slow down your system.
A Few Downsides
The only downside is that CsWol hasn’t had an update in quite some time. Still, it packs a punch with its options and settings for managing multiple hosts in LAN.
If you're looking to download CsWol, it's definitely worth checking out!
