Cut and Fill Volume

Cut and Fill Volume is a handy AutoCAD add-on that gives designers some extra tools to work with. It includes a bunch of commands that can really help out, like LSC, HSC, PSC, KMP, YTE, XTE, PTE, and P3D.

Multiplying Commands: LSC and HSC

So, let’s start with LSC and HSC. These two commands are all about multiplying! LSC is used to multiply the LINETYPE scales for selected entities. On the other hand, HSC multiplies the scales of HATCH entities based on a number you choose from your selected items. Pretty cool, right?

Adjusting Line Scales with PSC

KMP: Mileage Updates Made Easy

The KMP command is great for updating mileage in BLOCK attributes that are inserted along a POLYLINE or LWPOLYLINE. You just select one of these elements first. Then KMP finds the BLOCKs on your chosen POLYLINE that have KM and M attributes. It’ll fill those in based on how far you’ve drawn between the first BLOCK placement and where you currently are.

XTE, YTE & PTE: Coordinate Changes
