How Cybera Works

This app has two main parts that need to run on different computers to work well. First, you have the client software, which you install on the computers you want to monitor. This lets you control them from another PC. Then there’s the server component, which stores all your data, tracks time spent by users, and sends commands to those client PCs.

Your Main Hub: The Server

You’ll probably spend most of your time on the server side. When you launch it for the first time, it will ask how many client PCs you want to connect and some basic settings about funds and timing. Don’t worry if you need to change something later; you can easily do that from the options menu after setup.

User-Friendly Options Menu

The options menu is pretty straightforward! It’s organized into tabs where you can find everything from general settings and workstations to sessions and statistics. At first, all options are locked for security reasons, but with just a click, you can unlock them—just make sure only trusted people have admin access!

Managing Your Clients

This menu lets you set default locations for data files, adjust timing and charging settings, tweak connections, and make other useful changes.

Connecting Client PCs

For everything to run smoothly, at least one client PC needs to be active. Once connected, the server lets you manage these clients remotely—kind of like using remote desktop! You can control power options, send messages directly to clients, or even block access to certain sites.

Keeping Track of Everything

The server really is the brain behind it all! It tracks card usage by clients and can even set up loyalty bonuses if configured right. Plus, it provides insights into your income with customizable reports that can be exported as CSV files.
