de·caff Viewer

de·caff Viewer is a cool little Java-based tool that makes it super easy to open AutoCAD drawing files. You can work with files that end in .dxf, .dwg, or .shx. With it, you can export data and print your drawings, but just keep in mind that it doesn't let you edit them.

Easy to Use

If you've got Java set up on your computer, you're all set! There's no need to install anything else. Just drop the .jar file anywhere you want on your disk and click it to get going. Unlike most software out there, this one doesn't mess with your Windows registry settings or clutter up your Start menu when you decide to remove it.

Simple Interface

The interface is straightforward and user-friendly. You'll see a big window where you can easily zoom in or out of your AutoCAD drawings. You can pan around using your mouse, check out details about the .dxf entities, rotate the model freely, and even switch viewing modes (like top or bottom). Plus, you can choose whether to show or hide the parallel projection view.

Handy Features

This tool has some nifty features too! You can search for specific items quickly, view statistics and log details, and toggle between a white or black background. Want to print your drawing? If you like customizing things, de·caff Viewer lets you enable anti-aliasing for text fonts (.ttf), adjust animation speeds (in milliseconds), change background colors, and more! You can even hide certain views and tweak mouse wheel direction if that's your style.
