DeSmuME is a totally free and open-source application that runs on top of the X11 Window System of any GNU/Linux distribution, providing users with a high-quality Nintendo DS emulator.

• Saves games to various memory sizes - EEPROM 4kbit, 64kbit, and 512kbit; FRAM 256kbit; FLASH 2mbit and 4mbit

The application is written entirely in the C++ programming language and uses a graphical user interface written with the GTK+ GUI toolkit. It is a cross-platform software that runs on GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X.
