Dianara is a cool, free, open-source software that helps you manage your pump.io social networking accounts without needing a web browser. It’s designed to be user-friendly and lets you dive right into your social network with ease.

With Dianara, you can see the latest 15 public posts right away! Just enter your pump.io ID (like username@podname) and your auth token, and you're all set. Oh, and if you also use identi.ca, this software works for that too!

When you first set up Dianara, you'll enter your pump.io address and verification code. Once that's done, all your contacts will pop up in the app. Then it’s just a matter of clicking on someone to start chatting!

There’s also a Preferences dialog where you can personalize your profile by adding an avatar or filling in bio info like address and email. Plus, you can set filters to block out stuff you don’t want to see.
