Dmidecode FOR LINUX
Dmidecode project reports information about your system's hardware as described in your system BIOS according to the SMBIOS and DMI standard.
Main Features:
- System manufacturer, model name, serial number, BIOS version, asset tag, and more
- Usage status for CPU sockets, expansion slots, and memory module slots
- List of I/O ports such as serial, parallel, USB

Beware that DMI data can be unreliable. Dmidecode does not scan hardware, it reports what the BIOS tells it to.
