DocFetcher is a super handy software tool that helps you find your document files on your computer in no time. It's not just for documents, either! It can also search through other file types like music and pictures. Plus, it digs deep and looks for content inside those files!

Easy-to-Use Interface

The interface of DocFetcher is pretty straightforward. It has a clean layout that makes it easy to navigate. On the left side, you’ll see options to filter by different document types. This app plays nice with many formats like FLAC, HTML, AbiWord, MP3, MS Excel, TXT, RTF, and PDF.

Create Your Search Index

To kick off a search, you need to set up a location for DocFetcher. You can do this by creating an index from a folder or even an Outlook PST item. You can also use your Clipboard if that's easier!

Filter Your Results Easily

If you want to refine your results further, you can set minimum and maximum file sizes when searching. When making an index form, you have some cool options too! For example, you can choose to index HTML pairs as single documents or even detect executable ZIP and 7Z archives.

User-Friendly Preferences

The Preferences screen lets you tweak several settings according to what works best for you. Want your search history cleared every time you exit? No problem! You can also change the global hotkey or adjust the default highlight color—whatever suits your style.
