Download Center Lite is a handy software that helps website owners offer file downloads of any type right on their site. It’s super flexible and can be used in a couple of ways. First off, it lets you hide the actual path to your download folder on your web server. This means you can stop anyone from accessing the download folder directly.

How It Works

The script works in two main ways. First, it hides the real path to your download folder on your web server to stop direct access. Second, it ensures that visitors get a "Save as" dialogue instead of opening files like PDFs or Word documents right away.

Plus, with the counting feature enabled, you'll know how many times each file was downloaded along with when it was first and last accessed!

Requirements for Download Center Lite

You'll need:

• A server running PHP/4 or PHP/5 on Windows, Unix, or Linux to make everything work smoothly.


• A tool like WinZIP to unpack the script files after downloading them from our server.


• A good grasp of HTML and some experience with installing scripts would be really helpful!
