A Little History
Originally, DXFTool was written in CorelDRAW VBA. While this was a decent start, there were some hiccups. The biggest issue? You needed to have VBA installed on your CorelDRAW version. Some folks didn't install it, and certain OEM versions (especially X3) didn't even include VBA.
The Upgrade: What's New?
The new DXFTool Standard Edition has been rewritten in C++, which brings loads of benefits! It's faster, works better with CorelDRAW, and can easily support multiple versions. Just keep in mind that version V12 still needs VBA to kick it off, but both X3 and X4 versions run smoothly as plugins without needing any custom workspace setup. When you launch it up, the plugin adds a button right to the standard toolbar so you can get started quickly!
