Easy File Joiner is a handy application that helps you merge multiple plain text and MPG files into one big file. If you've ever tried to join the chapters of a manual, mailing lists, or different sections of your HTML project, you know how much work it can be. This tool makes it super easy!

Merging Files Made Simple

Instead of opening up each file and cutting and pasting everything together over and over again, just let Easy File Joiner handle it for you! You can load your files using the app’s interface or simply drag and drop them into the workspace. Arrange them in the order you want by dragging them around, give your new file a name, and then hit join!

What to Keep in Mind

The final text file will combine all the content from the documents you've provided. However, there's a little quirk: Easy File Joiner won’t add a space between the last line of one file and the first line of another. This can be annoying when you're working with the output.

File Types Supported

You should remember that Easy File Joiner only works with plain text files and MPG files. It doesn’t support formats like DOC, JPEG, BMP, AVI, MP3, or others. Also, keep in mind that it defaults to TXT for output files. So if you're merging MPG files, make sure to use the right extension; otherwise, you'll end up with a TXT file instead!

A Word on MPG Files

In our tests with Easy File Joiner, we couldn't get it to successfully join MPG files. Even when we used similar sizes and formats for our test videos, every time we tried joining them, the output was flawed—size-wise it looked fine but didn’t play correctly.

No Updates in Sight

The application hasn’t received any updates for quite some time now. Because of this ongoing issue with MPG files not working properly, it's best to use Easy File Joiner mainly as a tool for merging plain text files only. The idea is great; however, there's definitely room for improvement!
