E.L.A. is a cool application that helps you keep an eye on the traffic in your local networks and on the Internet. It tracks all the apps running on your local station that are making connections. If any app is sending or receiving data online, E.L.A. can figure out which one it is!

Monitor Your Internet Traffic

The traffic from each application shows up in real time, updating every second! Some apps might connect to the Internet through another program, like a proxy (think Naviscope). No worries though—E.L.A. can spot these connections and link them back to the original app causing the traffic!

Local vs Internet Traffic

Sometimes, an app might generate traffic on both local networks and over the Internet. In this case, E.L.A. will show you how much traffic it’s making in each area separately. Plus, if you make any changes to your network settings—like switching your IP address or turning on a PPPoE connection—E.L.A. automatically detects those changes!

Traffic History at Your Fingertips

E.L.A. also keeps a history of all the traffic flowing through your monitored network interfaces. This info gets saved in a database based on time intervals like minutes, hours, or days. You’ll have a handy window right on your desktop where you can see total traffic, external (Internet) traffic, and what's happening in your specified local networks.
