What is GConf Cleaner FOR LINUX?

GConf Cleaner FOR LINUX

GConf Cleaner project is a cleaning tool for GConf. It is designed to clean up the unknown/invalid gconf keys that are still sitting down on your gconf database. If you want to keep your GConf database clean, this tool might be of great help. Some applications put the GConf keys without schemas, which can result in your applications being damaged after cleaning up. It is recommended to save a registry in GConf Cleaner before actually cleaning up. If you notice any weird behavior in your applications, you can restore your lost keys with gconftool --load < saved filename >.
