GpsDrive FOR LINUX
GpsDrive is an open source graphical software written in GTK+ and specifically designed to display your current position via a NMEA capable GPS receiver on a zoomable map. It supports almost all Garmin GPS receivers that have a serial output, as well as other GPS receivers that support the NMEA protocol. The user interface displays speed, position, and altitude. Maps can be uploaded automatically, and the application offers map zooming, sliding controls, and supports nautical miles, statute miles, and kilometer units. GpsDrive is a cross-platform application that runs on Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X operating systems.
