What is Hardware Access Console FOR LINUX?

Hardware Access Console

Hardware Access Console is a free and super handy software that lets you directly access memory, PCI, and input/output ports on MS-DOS, Windows, and Linux (both x86 and ARM). The program runs in console mode, which means it uses a simple set of commands to interact with your hardware.

Access Any Memory Location

This program can get into any physical memory location within the 32-bit memory space. You can see a memory dump right in the console or save it to a file. Plus, it can read or write to any physical memory address using byte, word, or double word modes. How cool is that?

Scan Your PCI Devices

When you start the software, it automatically scans all the PCI devices connected to your system. Each device gets an ID number for easy reference during read/write operations. You can check out a detailed list of these PCI devices, which includes info like VendorID and DeviceID. This lets you read or write the PCI registers within the 255 bytes of PCI space.

Reading and Writing Made Easy

The read or write operations can also be done in byte, word, or double word mode. Just like with memory functions, you can show a PCI memory dump right in the console or save that info too!

Simple Input/Output Operations

You’ll love how easy it is to perform input/output operations on every system port! The syntax is straightforward and supports byte, word, or double word modes as well. And there's this special operation called "registry indexed mode," where one port sets up the registry while another reads or writes data from it. They've even added a special command to make this process quick!
