Easy Rules for Everyone

The rules for this strategy card game are super simple and easy to pick up. Each player starts with 30 health points and picks a hero from one of the classic World of Warcraft classes.

Your Goal

Your main goal? Hit your opponent hard enough to take their health down from 30 to 0 before they can do the same to you!

Manna Crystals at Play

You’ll use your manna crystals to summon all sorts of minions, cast spells, and power up your hero. Every match kicks off with just one crystal, but as you play, you can earn more each round, building up to a maximum of 10 crystals!

Deck Building Fun

Hearthstone offers awesome pre-built decks and tons of extra cards that you can craft, win, or buy. This helps you expand your collection and make it even better.

The Cost of Cards

Every card has a cost in crystals. The cooler the card, the more mana crystals it needs! As you draw new cards during your turn, you can play them to summon creatures or cast spells that attack your opponent. You can mix and match any cards as long as you're focused on taking down the other player.

Minion Stats Matter!

Your minions have different health and attack ratings that you can boost using various cards or spells. You get to decide whether to go after your opponent’s hero directly or take out their minions first.

A Variety of Abilities

Plus, each minion card has special traits like Windfury, Battlecry, Charge, Taunt, Deathrattle, and more! Use the tooltips in-game to learn what each ability does.
