What Can You Calculate?

HydroCalc comes with several modules tailored for specific calculation methods: open channel/uniform flow, pipe flow, sediment yield, manifold/diffuser designs, and riverine cross-section geometry.

User-Friendly Interface

The user interface might look basic at first glance, but don’t let that fool you! It’s organized nicely with easy commands. At the top bar of the app, you’ll find four main options: Input, Options, Modules, and Save.

Inputting Your Data

The Input option lets you switch between full and partially-full flow data in various formats like trapezoidal, circular, elliptical, parabolic, horseshoe, and even general shapes.

Tweaking Your Options

If you head to the Options tab, you can adjust properties like Xsection plots and rating curves. Then there’s the Modules tab where you can pick from favorites like GeoCalc, ManCalc, PipeCalc, or SedCalc. Once you choose a module, it opens up as its own little app ready to crunch those numbers!

Easily Save Your Results!

The last tab is simply called 'Save (results)', making it easy to keep track of what you've done.
